St Anne’s College Kialla is very excited to receive $3.6 million in Victorian Government grant funding which will be utilised for further upgrades to our college campus.
The funding will be used for the next stage of the College’s Masterplan which will include seven general learning areas, learning collaboration zone, staff workspaces and associated areas.
St Anne’s College is among 65 low-fee Catholic and independent schools to receive a share in $450 million from the Victorian Government’s Building Fund for Non-Government Schools for building and upgrades.

“We would like to extend a huge thank you to the Victorian Government for the funding received,” she said.
“As a college we opened in 2019 and grant funding has continued to provide us with the support for our facilities to expand, accommodating our growing enrolments.
“Next year we will add the final year level (Year 6) which means we will operate as a full Foundation to Year 12 cohort. We have added a new year level each year to the primary and secondary areas after beginning with just Foundation and Year 7 students in 2019.
“The news of this grant funding comes at such a pivotal moment for our college as we recently officially opened Stage 2B of our college facilities during the midst of construction on Stage 3A which is currently taking place.”
Non-government schools play an important role in Victoria's education system, with over one-third of Victorian students studying at Catholic or independent schools.

Executive Director of Catholic Education Sandhurst (CES) Ltd. Kate Fogarty said CES was incredibly grateful to the Victorian Government for their generous grant, which will enable us to complete Stage 4A of St Anne’s College Masterplan.
“This funding is a significant investment in the Kialla and wider Shepparton region, building on the already exceptional facilities that St Anne's College has to offer there is no doubt that St Anne's College is poised to provide even more opportunities for students to thrive.”
Victorian Minister for Education Ben Carroll said thousands of Victorian kids go to a low-fee Catholic school every day – and the State Government was making sure those kids are learning in the best environments.
“We’re supporting our low-fee Catholic schools to expand, build new classrooms and open new campuses,” he said.
This fund builds on the $522 million allocated between 2016–23 for the Non-Government Schools Capital Fund.
